The Talaria Hall sensor (throttle Hall effect pickup) is the throttle-position pickup sensor for Talaria Sting Offroad (TL3000) and Sting Onroad (TL45). Reads rider input from the throttle grip and signals the controller. A failed sensor shows up as no throttle response, full-throttle stick, or erratic acceleration.
How the Talaria Hall Sensor Works
Hall effect technology uses a magnetic-field sensor — no contact wear, more reliable than potentiometer-based throttles. Direct OEM replacement; plug-in connector. Fitment runs across the Talaria Sting platform, with model-specific notes below.
| Model | Fits | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Talaria Sting Offroad (TL3000) | Yes | Direct OEM replacement |
| Talaria Sting Onroad (TL45) | Yes | Direct OEM replacement |
| Talaria Sting R MX4 (TL4000) | Verify with installer | Verify connector pinout |
| Talaria with EBMX X-9000 controller | Verify with installer | EBMX may use different sensor spec |
Output & Features

| Spec | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Hall effect (magnetic) throttle-position sensor |
| Input | Throttle grip rotation |
| Output | Variable voltage signal to controller |
| Compatible models | TL3000, TL45 |
| Manufacturer | Talaria (OEM) |
Hall-effect throttles are inherently more reliable than potentiometer designs — but they do fail. Symptoms include throttle stick (rider releases grip but power continues), no throttle response at all, or jerky acceleration. See the rest of our Talaria parts catalogue for matching components.
Install Notes
Difficulty: Easy. Tools: hex keys. Time: 15-20 minutes. Disconnect battery first. Unplug old sensor, fit new one, test throttle response on stand before riding.
Frequently Asked
How do I diagnose a Hall sensor failure?
Symptoms: no throttle response with battery on, throttle stick (power continues after release), or erratic acceleration. Multimeter test the sensor output voltage — should sweep smoothly from ~0.8V at rest to ~4V at full throttle.
Will this work with my EBMX X-9000 controller?
Most EBMX X-9000 installs accept the stock Talaria Hall sensor without modification. Verify with EBMX or your installer if you ride the V2 X-9000 — some configurations require an EBMX-specific sensor.
Trust Signals & Warranty
Talaria covers OEM electronics against manufacturing defects. Talaria USA covers a 30-day return window on unmodified parts and ships from our US warehouse in 2-4 business days.
