The Talaria brake caliper (OEM 2-piston) is the OEM 2-piston front brake caliper for Talaria Sting Offroad (TL3000) and Sting Onroad (TL45). Direct factory replacement after caliper seizure, piston-seal failure, or impact damage. Note: this is the 2-piston entry caliper — the higher-spec Sting trims (MX4, MX5 Pro) ship with 4-piston calipers.

Install Notes
Difficulty: Moderate. Brake bleeding required after install. Tools: torque wrench, hex keys, brake-bleed kit, DOT 3/4 brake fluid. Time: 45-60 minutes with bleed. Re-torque caliper mounting bolts to Talaria service-manual spec; under-torque allows the caliper to flex under braking.

Can I upgrade my Sting Offroad to a 4-piston caliper?
In principle yes — the 4-piston caliper from a Sting R MX4 (SKU not listed) may fit the same mount points. However, the master cylinder is sized for 2-piston volume; upgrading to 4-piston without a matching master cylinder may cause spongy lever feel.
Why is the brake fluid important?
DOT 3 and DOT 4 are glycol-based — interchangeable in most modern brake systems. DO NOT use DOT 5 (silicone-based) — it is incompatible with DOT 3/4 seals and will cause brake failure.
